Job summary

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. in Nashville, TN seeks a Senior Financial Analyst of Merchandising to provide strategic decision support and partner with Bridgestone Retail Operations. The role involves budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis, reporting to the Senior Manager of Merchandising Finance.

This hybrid position requires office presence Tue, Wed, and Thu at Bridgestone HQ in Nashville, TN.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA a plus.
• Minimum of five years of related work experience.
• Extensive budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint knowledge; able to work with large data sets.
• Experience creating Power BI dashboards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key contributor to the forecasting and budgeting processes.
• Ensure financial results are reported in a timely and accurate manner, in compliance with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards).
• Interpret and analyze income statements and balance sheets.
• Develop complex financial models.
• Possess strong analytical & evaluation skills.
• Proactively drive strategy and finance discussions within the business.
• Manage competing priorities and deadlines in a timely and efficient manner.
• Support and/or lead highly visible special projects on an ad hoc basis.
• Identify and implement process improvements.
• Communicate candidly and directly to various levels of leadership.
