Job description

Petite Plume is a high-growth luxury lifestyle brand rooted in timeless design, premium craftsmanship, and an unwavering dedication to comfort. We are a direct-to-consumer-led business, with a rapidly scaling DTC channel at the center of our growth and brand-building strategy.

Alongside our strong online presence, we maintain a selective footprint in major retail doors including Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdale's, Nordstrom, Maisonette, and Shopbop. As we continue to accelerate, we remain grounded in exceptional quality, thoughtful detail, and long-term brand vision.

We are building a team that is energized by growth, motivated by excellence, and excited to help shape what comes next.

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Merchandising Data Analyst to join our Planning team. This role serves as a key contributor to our analysis, ensuring that our leadership team has the accurate, timely, and organized data required to make informed business decisions.

This role is not siloed; you will support all channels, including our growing wholesale partnerships, luxury hospitality concessions, independent boutiques, and our direct-to-consumer digital channels. You will take ownership of the critical data infrastructure of our department, managing data normalization and the recurring recapping processes that keep the business moving.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take full ownership of the weekly recapping process, ensuring our business dashboards are up-to-date, accurate, and ready for review by Planning leadership.
  • Serve as the primary gatekeeper for data hygiene, managing the intake and normalization of "dirty" or disparate datasets across our fragmented sales channels into a clean, unified view of the business.
  • Help build and maintain robust forecasting tools in Excel, using expert-level proficiency in Power Pivot and Microsoft Data Models to keep our planning models accurate, responsive, and efficient.
  • Monitor sell-through data and inventory levels, identifying and flagging discrepancies to help the team troubleshoot issues before they reach leadership.
  • Transform manual administrative tasks into sustainable, automated processes that bridge the gap between financial targets and inventory reality.
Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of experience in retail planning, merchandising, or data analysis.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Excel, including Power Pivot and Microsoft Data Models (non-negotiable).
  • Proficiency/familiarity with PowerBI.
  • Ability to translate complex data findings into clear, concise insights for the planning team.
What Will Make You Successful
  • A collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn and contribute to a team.
  • A genuine interest in the fashion industry and the product lifecycle.
  • Comfort working in a company where systems are evolving.
  • A proactive approach to creating structure, identifying process improvements, and solving data-related roadblocks.
  • A desire to grow technical skills in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.

As a 100% founder-owned company, we are committed to offering a package that supports employees in life's moments both big and small, including:

  • 11 paid federal holidays
  • A 401K and company profit-sharing plan after one year of tenure
  • Generous health, dental, and vision insurance for you and your dependents
  • 50% employee discount on petite-plume.com
  • An inclusive, collaborative, and dynamic work environment
  • Annual discretionary bonus program
