Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a sales associate to act as the point of contact for customers, maintain plan-o-grams, stock merchandise, and support cashier operations in a fast-paced store. You will greet customers, help locate items, and ensure shelves are clean and well-presented while following store procedures.

This role requires effective communication, basic math, safety awareness, and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds. Prior retail experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram and merchandising guidance.
• Basic cash handling and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise on sales floor.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise and greet customers.
• Operate cash register, bag merchandise and handle payments.
• Build and maintain displays and ensure shelves are neat.
