Job summary

7-Eleven is seeking a Merchandising Support Analyst to turn cost, vendor, category, and performance data into actionable insights. You will partner with Merchandising, Strategic Sourcing, and cross-functional teams to support supplier strategy and cost management.

The role focuses on building fact-based materials, dashboards, and business cases that drive cost mitigation, vendor negotiations, and category development decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Economics, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 2+ years of analytics, financial modeling, category/vendor analysis, or business reporting experience.
• Master's degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support cost policy by modeling financial impact of vendor cost changes and provide negotiation insights.
• Track cost policy stages and ensure adherence to guidelines and timelines.
• Engage with Merchandising and cross-functional partners to provide insights and support initiatives.
• Prepare cost, vendor, and category materials for leadership reviews and updates.
• Develop and maintain scorecards tracking performance and opportunities.
• Analyze data points to create clear business storylines and recommendations.
• Support multi-year vendor and merchandise strategies aligned to goals.
• Build dashboards, trackers, and reporting tools for cost movement and drivers.
• Provide excellent customer service through accurate analytics and timely execution.
• Support Joint Business Planning with supplier analytics and cost recovery opportunities.
