Job summary

Uline, the Pleasant Prairie, WI-based leader in shipping and packaging materials, is seeking a Category Manager to shape product strategy and drive growth. You will lead a team of Product Management Analysts from a corporate HQ role, guiding cross-functional collaboration across Purchasing, Creative and Quality Control.

This non-technical, on-site position emphasizes sourcing, vendor management, catalog strategy and data accuracy, with travel to vendor visits and tradeshows as needed to stay

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience in product management, supply chain or marketing preferred.
• Ability to travel for tradeshows and vendor visits.

Responsibilities

• Own product sourcing, vendor selection and new product development within your assigned product category.
• Lead vendor negotiations to build successful business partnerships.
• Organize vendor visits to understand the manufacturing process and monitor market trends.
• Support the creative strategy for your product category’s catalog and digital marketing layouts.
• Contribute to increasing profitability, product quality and data accuracy.
• Build strong relationships with Uline leaders and internal teams including Purchasing, Creative and Quality Control.
• Coach and develop a team of Product Management Analysts.
