Job summary

TJ Maxx is hiring for a store role in Marquette, MI. You will help execute receiving and merchandising standards, ensuring efficient processing of merchandise and a positive customer experience.

You will train associates, maintain stock integrity, and support safety and loss-prevention programs. Ideal candidates bring 1 year of retail experience with at least 6 months in leadership, strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to work nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Team player with peer and supervisor collaboration.
• Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without accommodation.
• Experience training others is a plus.
• 1 year retail experience and 6 months leadership desirable.

Responsibilities

• Execute receiving and merchandising standards to ensure efficient product processing onto the sales floor.
• Provide an excellent customer experience through proactive engagement and service.
• Organize backroom and stock, rotate merchandise, and ensure proper tagging and pricing.
• Coordinate with the Coordinator on Duty to maintain flow of goods and store standards.
• Train and mentor Associates on merchandising principles and processing practices.
• Support store shrink reduction and safety programs.
