Job summary

Hudson Grace is seeking a Merchandising Associate in California to help maximize sales by supporting the Store Management team with inventory integrity and merchandising execution. You will move core merchandise, support cycle counts, and help transitions between seasons, while maintaining labeling accuracy.

• Maintain accurate labeling and organization of merchandise.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners and train new hires.

Maximize company sales growth and profitability by supporting the Store Management team with the receiving, handling, organizing and maintaining of system/physical inventory integrity.

A Day in the Life as a Merchandising Associate at Hudson Grace...

• Facilitate the physical and systemic movement of core merchandise
• Perform weekly inventory cycle counts and work with the Assistant Store Manager to reconcile discrepancies
• Support team to successfully meet project deadlines
• Utilize the Lightspeed inventory system to receive orders/transfers, reference stock levels, reconcile count adjustments
• Facilitate seasonal purge of discontinued products and receiving of new season’s products
• Maintain accurate labeling and organization of core and seasonal merchandise
• Participate in the ongoing review and improvement of processes
• Participate in the training of new hires
• Clearly communicate anticipated challenges to ensure seamless collaboration with cross-functional partners
• Promote a strong sense of teamwork by working together safely, effectively, respectfully and efficiently with all associates
• Support and model excellent service by exhibiting a positive attitude and enthusiasm toward the job and the company to both internal and external customers in all forms of communication
