Dollar Tree Stores is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager in Merritt Island, FL. You will support the Store Manager in leading a dynamic team, focusing on merchandising and freight processing to drive sales and customer satisfaction.

You will assist with daily store operations, maintain storefront standards, protect assets, and execute monthly sales plans while ensuring a safe, friendly shopping environment for customers and staff alike.

Qualifications

• Retail management experience preferred.
• Strong communication and written skills required.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks as part of daily duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain stockroom and sales floor to company standards.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Keep store areas clean and presentable and ensure a positive customer environment.
• Assist Store Manager with duties as assigned, including freight flow and stock needs.
• Plan, merchandise, and maintain displays and monthly Sales Planners.
