Dollar Tree, Inc. in Rochester, MN is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager to join the Store Manager in leading a dynamic team of associates and creating positive experiences for the communities we serve.

You'll focus on merchandising and processing freight, assisting with all store functions and day-to-day activities. You will manage freight flow, stock merchandise, plan and merchandise monthly Sales Planners, and uphold safety, cleanliness, and high-energy teamwork.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities
• Open and close procedures as needed
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash
• Maintain stockroom and sales floor to company standards
• Process corporate directives and communications
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store
• Ensure positive, safe, and respectful environment
• Assist Store Manager with freight flow and merchandising duties
• Plan, merchandise, and maintain sales items; monthly Sales Planners
