Position Overview

As a Merchandising Assistant, you are responsible for supporting the Merchandising Team with the implementation of billings, cost changes, customer support, and data integrity review.

Job Details

Location: Hybrid role after training in North Hatfield, MA

Pay: $17.01 - $21.24

Responsibilities

1. Coordinate customer contracts by monitoring all outbound costs to the customers. Work with the manufacturing community to ensure up-to-date and competitive pricing, managing regional brackets and exceptions.
2. Coordinate future increases and declines submitted by the manufacturing community, ensuring all deals, off-invoices, and customized pricing are accurately recorded to maintain integrity with customers.
3. Monitor team-produced billings, including flyers, bottle deposits, and customized p-deals weekly, and ensure alignment with the gross profit budget.
4. Maintain high data quality by monitoring item and vendor attributes setup, ensuring order accuracy and proper product flow.
5. Communicate daily with customers and oversee tracking spreadsheets for new items, reviewing cost comparison reports for pricing variances.
6. Run sales reports to validate credits owed or rebills, and verify cost mismatches between C&S and the customer.
7. Assist at least one merchandiser with weekly tasks, including gross profit analysis and developing merchandising and marketing plans for the East Coast independent base.
8. Travel: Not required

Environment

• Office environment with temperature maintained between 65F and 75F.
