Job description

Position Overview

As a Merchandising Assistant, you are responsible for supporting the Merchandising Team with the implementation of billings, cost changes, customer support, and data integrity review.

Description

• Coordinate customer contracts by monitoring all outbound costs to the customers. Work with the manufacturing community to ensure that we have the most up-to-date and competitive pricing for our customers, managing regional brackets and exceptions for each.
• Coordinate all future increases and declines submitted by the manufacturing community into their associates. Ensure the team updates all upcoming deals, off-invoices, and customized pricing, maintaining strong integrity with our customer base.
• Monitor billings produced by the team, including flyers, bottle deposits, and customized p-deals weekly, along with all billings allocated to the gross profit budget line.
• Monitor and communicate item and vendor attributes that are set up incorrectly. Ensure high data quality to keep our orders aligned with vendor information. Flag and review attributes in the system to ensure proper product flow.
• Communicate daily with customers. Oversee each associate's tracking spreadsheet that monitors the progress of new items. Review cost comparison reports to ensure pricing accuracy with our customers.
• Run sales reports to validate credits owed to customers or rebills owed to us. Understand and validate cost mismatches between C&S and the customer.
• Assist at least one merchandiser in their weekly tasks, including gross profit analysis and developing merchandising and marketing plans for our East Coast independent base.
