Job summary

Kristen Distributing Company is seeking a Merchandiser based in Temple, TX. You will stock shelves daily, restock and build displays, and place point-of-sale materials to boost brand awareness. You will service Temple, Killeen, Waco, and Belton with weekend rotations.

Responsibilities include organizing deliveries, ensuring accurate pricing, maintaining a clean vehicle, and collaborating with the account manager to satisfy accounts. Previous merchandising experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous merchandising experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills for inventory management and product placement.
• Excellent communication with account managers, supervisors, and retail staff.
• Physical fitness to lift, move and stock merchandise.
• Attention to detail for pricing and placement.
• Dependable with regular work schedule and punctuality.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Knowledge of beverage industry and POS materials is a plus.

Job Overview

As our Merchandiser, your key goal is to help increase sales while maintaining outstanding relationships with all our accounts. This will be achieved by stocking shelves on a daily basis to eliminate out-of-stock conditions, strategically placing paper point-of-sale to increase brand awareness and restocking and building floor and end displays.

Based out of our Temple, TX location this position will service customers located in Temple, Killeen, Waco, and Belton. Weekend work required, on a rotation basis.

Job Responsibilities

• Efficiently organize deliveries in the back-stock area of each account.
• Stock shelves, coolers, and displays at accounts with precision.
• Ensure accurate pricing by affixing proper shelf tags to all packages.
• Communicate all pertinent information regarding any retail account activity directly to their account manager or supervisor.
• Ensure all temporary point of sale in an account is current.
• Identify and remove damaged, dented, or expired products from shelves, promptly notifying the account manager.
• Maintain proper product rotation to uphold our commitment to freshness and quality standards.
• Foster positive customer relations and maintain a friendly demeanor.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper maintenance of the company vehicle.
• Perform vehicle inspections before and after each shift.
• Collaborate with the account manager to ensure each account is fully satisfied.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned, showcasing flexibility and a willingness to contribute to team success.
