Merchandiser/Stocker - Hub

Compensation Pay Range: $16.66 - $23.00 per hour

The actual hourly rate will meet or exceed the minimum wage applicable in the job location. Additional compensation may include annual, quarterly performance bonuses, or premiums based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if criteria are met.

Responsibilities include keeping the front floor area stocked, fronted, and clean; stocking merchandise per planograms or displays; completing sales preparations; greeting customers; and serving as stock puller for installer areas in large stores. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Essential Job Functions
  1. Greet customers and assist them in locating merchandise or directing them to a parts specialist if needed.
  2. Check in, price, and display stock.
  3. Maintain merchandise on the display floor, ensuring it is fronted, full, and clean daily.
  4. Make display changes according to company guidelines and planograms.
  5. Update all out-front prices and ensure sale signs and flyers are in place, with sufficient sale merchandise on display.
  6. Remove sale materials after sale ends and restore original pricing.
  7. Assist with stock adjustments, cycle counts, and overstock returns.
  8. Work with management to complete store to-do lists and weekly team tasks. Act as main security deterrent on the sales floor.
  9. Assist with O’Reilly ImageMaker responsibilities.
  10. Clock in/out per company policy.
  11. Coordinate with ISS and delivery specialists for deliveries and staging.
  12. Communicate between ISS, delivery specialists, and store management.
  13. Help determine the most efficient and safe routes for delivery specialists.
  14. Ensure quarterly vehicle inspections and maintenance are completed in coordination with ISS and delivery staff.
  15. Perform housekeeping duties in backroom and installer areas.
  16. Optional: Store Order Puller – efficiently pull parts from pick tickets for delivery to stores served by the Hub. Tasks include receiving orders, pulling parts, sorting by store location, inspecting returned boxes, and maintaining a clean, safe work area.
Skills, Education, Knowledge, Experience, Abilities
Required:
  • Good aptitude for number sequences and organizational skills.
Desired:
  • Previous stocking experience.
  • Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle.
  • Fluency in multiple languages, especially Spanish.
