Keep the front floor area stocked, fronted, and clean; stock merchandise according to planograms or displays; complete sales preparation; and greet customers on the sales floor. May also serve as stock puller for installer area in large installer volume stores.

Essential Job Functions

1. Greet customers on the sales floor and assist them in locating merchandise or direct them to a parts specialist if hard parts are needed.
2. Check in, price, and put up stock.
3. Keep merchandise on the display floor fronted, full, and clean daily.
4. Make display changes according to company guidelines, planograms, etc.
5. Make all out-front price changes.
6. Ensure sale signs are in place, sales flyer rack is stocked, and sufficient sale merchandise is on display.
7. Remove sale material when the sale ends and restore original pricing.
8. Assist with stock adjustments, cycle counts, and overstock returns.
9. Work with the manager to complete store To Do List and Team Weekly tasks. Act as main shoplifting deterrent/front floor security.
10. Assist with O’Reilly Image Maker responsibilities.
11. Clock in/out according to company policy.
12. Coordinate with ISS to pull and stage installer deliveries.
13. Serve as communication liaison between ISS, delivery specialists, and store manager.
14. Assist in determining efficient and safe routes for delivery specialists.
15. Coordinate and ensure completion of vehicle inspections and maintenance.
16. Maintain housekeeping duties for back room and installer counter areas.

Duties

May serve as HUB Store Order Puller—pulling parts quickly and accurately from pick tickets for delivery to stores. Responsibilities include:

1. Receiving orders from area stores to be pulled and shipped.
2. Pulling parts as listed on the Stock Transfer ticket.
3. Sorting parts by store location for delivery.
4. Inspecting boxes for damage or age to ensure quality.
5. Maintaining a clean, safe work area.
6. Operating safely and watching for unsafe practices.

Skills/Education/Knowledge/Experience/Abilities

Required: Good aptitude for dealing with number sequences, organizational skills.

Desired: Previous stocking experience, ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle, fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
