Job description

Join to apply for the Merchandiser/Stocker - Hub role at O'Reilly Auto Parts.

Keep the front floor area stocked, fronted, and clean; stock merchandise according to planograms or displays; complete sales preparation; and greet customers on the sales floor. May also serve as stock puller for installer area in large installer volume stores.

Essential Job Functions

1. Greet customers on the sales floor and assist them in locating merchandise or direct them to a parts specialist if hard parts are needed.
2. Check in, price, and put up stock.
3. Keep merchandise on the display floor fronted, full, and clean daily.
4. Make display changes according to company guidelines, planograms, etc.
5. Make all out-front price changes.
6. Ensure sale signs are in place, sales flyer rack is stocked, and maintain sufficient quantities of sale merchandise.
7. Remove sale materials when sale ends and restore original pricing.
8. Assist with stock adjustments, cycle counts, and overstock returns.
9. Work with manager on store To Do List and weekly tasks. Act as main security/front floor deterrent.
10. Assist with O’Reilly Image Maker responsibilities.
11. Clock in/out per company policy.
12. Coordinate with ISS, pull and stage installer deliveries.
13. Serve as communication liaison between ISS, delivery specialists, and store manager.
14. Help determine efficient routes for delivery specialists.
15. Coordinate quarterly vehicle inspections and maintenance.
16. Maintain housekeeping duties for back room and installer areas.

Duties

May serve as HUB Store Order Puller: Pull parts quickly and accurately, sort by store, inspect boxes, and keep a safe work area.

Skills/Education/Knowledge/Experience/Abilities

• Required: Good aptitude for number sequences, organization skills.
• Desired: Previous stocking experience, ability to drive manual transmission vehicles, fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
