Job summary

Coastal Beverage Company, Inc., the leading beverage distributor in Eastern North Carolina, is seeking a Retail Merchandiser to join the Coastal Crew. This full‑time role in Morehead City offers early hours, a 6:00am–3:00pm schedule Tuesday through Saturday, and a pay of $17.50 per hour plus DOE with mileage reimbursement for business use of your personal vehicle.

• Maintain regular presence in customer accounts during business hours to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain in‑person attendance to support merchandising operations.
• All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist the sales and delivery departments by servicing and merchandising retail accounts in the best professional manner possible.
• Responsible for stocking and merchandising various products ensuring that all beverage sections, racks, and displays are completely filled, POS neat, clean, and current and displays maintained according to Coastal Beverage Company’s standards.
• This is a field‑based role requiring consistent presence in customer accounts throughout the day during designated standard business hours to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Possess the ability to maintain regular and punctual in‑person attendance to support merchandising operations and service customer accounts.
• All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

2. Possess education equivalent to a high school diploma.
3. Possess the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals.
4. Possess the ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
5. Possess basic mathematical skills including the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, use whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Possess the ability to compute rate, ratio and percent.
6. Possess ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
7. Possess computer skills requiring knowledge of e‑mail software and Internet.
8. Possess the ability to drive, valid driver’s license, and a driving record compliant with company standards.
