Description and Requirements

As a Merchandiser Retail Coverage - Walmart - PRIMARY at Acosta, you’ll ensure Acosta’s client brands stand out at Walmart stores by driving product availability. Your efforts executing retail merchandising activities will connect customers with the brands they love in one of the largest retailers in the world.

What will you do?

• Work scheduled from Sunday through Saturday, with days depending on location-specific requirements.
• Flexible schedules for full-time (at least 5 days, including Friday) and part-time (2-4 days, including Friday).
• Start work between 6am-9am; work hours between 6am-6pm (no evenings).
• Locate merchandise in the backroom, stock, and pack out products.
• Straighten products on shelves.
• Transport coupons and signage materials to store.
• Use company-issued mobile devices to complete work and navigate multiple applications.
• Answer simple, step-by-step questions within Acosta’s field technology.
• Take photos of completed work to demonstrate success.
• Represent Acosta and its clients in your assigned Walmart stores.
• Partner with Walmart store management and associates to complete tasks.
• Communicate with your manager via email, phone, and text.

How will you succeed?

• Own your store(s) and build relationships with Walmart staff.
• Work independently while representing Acosta and Walmart positively.
• Communicate effectively with store staff and Acosta team members.
• Share best practices and leverage support from the nationwide Walmart team.
• Seek help from your manager when needed.
• Complete tasks within set timeframes and follow instructions carefully.
• Provide accurate data and photos as instructed.
• Report your work on the same day it’s completed.

Tools needed for the job

• Reliable transportation to visit multiple retail locations daily.
