Job summary

McClatchy Media Company in Savannah, GA is seeking a part-time Merchandiser to service products in multiple stores. This on-site role requires frequent travel across the territory and a strong attention to detail.

You will work a designated weekday schedule, report to the Supervisor of Merchandising, and record hours using company applications. A professional demeanor and reliable transportation are essential, with background check and drug test as conditions of employment.

• Employment contingent on background check, 4 panel drug test (does not include THC), and MVR clearance.

Responsibilities

• 100% Merchandising
• Work within a retail environment to effectively merchandise products by applying appropriate store and/or corporate standards. Safely and efficiently replenish product. May assemble shelves/racks and display cases following measurement guidelines.
• Service all stores as scheduled within the allotted hours provided by Supervisor, Merchandising. Seek prior approval from Supervisor before working outside of scheduled hours.
• Contact Supervisor before working more than 10 hours in a workday or overtime.
• Accurately record work hours and other company-related information using designated applications.
• Discuss duties requested by store personnel not listed herein with Supervisor before performing those duties.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job description

Position: Merchandiser

On-site position: will service product in multiple stores and travel between them

Status: Part-Time, Non-Exempt

Location: Savannah, GA

Reports To: Supervisor of Merchandising

Servicing Zip Code (and surrounding areas): 31410

Compensation:

• Competitive Wage $16.50 to include Travel time between accounts is paid.
• Retention and/or Referral Bonus after 3 months. See Program Details for eligibility.

Direct Reports: None

Schedule:

• Assigned stores are serviced on designated weekdays according to the established schedule.

Travel: Travel expected up to 100% of the time to cover territory
