Our client, a handbag manufacturing company, is seeking a Merchandiser/Product Development Associate – Handbags to join their team in NYC!

Responsibilities:

• Partner with the SVP to develop and execute merchandising strategies and seasonal handbag product assortments
• Analyze historical sales performance, competitive market trends, and in-season data to inform merchandising decisions
• Assist in creating and maintaining merchandising tools including line plans, trackers, and visual assortment boards
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Design, Sales, and Product Development to ensure cohesive and market-right collections
• Help manage development timelines, sample tracking, and product recaps to keep seasonal milestones on track

Qualifications:

• Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent Excel and presentation skills; familiarity with PLM systems a plus
• Team player with a proactive mindset and strong attention to detail
• Experience in handbags or accessories is a plus, but not required
