Description

The Merchandiser’s main job function is to assist with sales and create brand awareness. A sales merchandiser should have knowledge of our products as they relate to the deli.

Pay Rate: $20.00-$22.00 based on experience
Weekly Payroll via Direct Deposit

Our team is currently looking for a Part-Time Merchandiser to uphold our commitment to safety and customer service.

The duties of a Dietz & Watson Merchandiser include, but are not limited to:

• Set up deli cases and rotate deli products appropriately
• Assemble equipment for case setup
• Maintain marketing displays using Dietz & Watson POS
• Attract customers through product demos
• Develop new recipes and sandwiches for demos
• Complete reports and store surveys
• Visit stores regularly
• Build customer relationships with high-level service
• Create and market Dietz & Watson party trays and sandwiches
• Communicate relevant information to the Account Manager
• Ensure full distribution and display of products
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment
• Perform outside projects as needed

Minimum Requirements

• Ability to travel within 20 miles of the hiring location
• Proficiency in reading and writing English
• Computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Strong communication, organization, creativity, and customization skills
• Ability to make independent decisions
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license

Physical Requirements

• Standing, bending, twisting
• Frequent lifting up to 20 pounds
• Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds
• Push/pull carts up to 100 lbs. occasionally
• Walking, reaching, using both hands and arms

Working Conditions

• Store environment at room temperature
• Refrigerated cooler areas at times
