Job summary

Pepsi Bottling Ventures is seeking a full-time Merchandiser to stock shelves, set up displays, and rotate products across our NC territory. You will manage cooler stock, execute promotions, and maintain backroom organization while building strong customer relationships and ensuring timely product delivery.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to perform heavy physical tasks in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
3–5 years of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a high school diploma.
Valid driver’s license required.
Basic math ability for calculations.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to perform heavy physical labor in a fast-paced environment.
Must meet PBV driving qualifications and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

Fills and merchandises coolers, displays, racks, shelves and backroom stock according to PBV standards.
Sells and executes promotions and creates/uses point-of-sale signage.
Develops strong customer relations and serves customers as scheduled.
Orders product and/or processes invoices.
Maintains clean equipment and backroom storage and rotates stock.
Other duties as assigned.

Merchandiser Role Overview

Merchandises products by stocking shelves, rotating products, setting up displays, cooler stocking/rotation, backroom organization, and moving products from backroom to sales floor. Accurately orders product for the next delivery.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Fills and merchandises all coolers, displays, racks, shelves, and/or vendors in accordance with PBV standards.
Sells and executes all promotions.
Creates and utilizes point-of-sale signage.
Develops good customer relations.
Services all customers as scheduled.
Orders product and /or runs invoices.
Cleans equipment, maintains backroom storage in an orderly fashion, and rotates stock.
Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED highly preferred.
Three to five years of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a high school diploma or GED.
Valid driver’s license required.
Must be able to perform basic financial calculations, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Must have good oral and written communication skills.
Must be able to perform heavy physical labor for extended periods of time.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
Must be able to meet PBV driving qualifications.
Must be able to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks.
Must have a positive attitude and attention to detail.
Must be able to work in a team environment.
Must be a self-starter with excellent follow-up skills.
Must be customer-oriented and focused.
