Position Overview: The Grader

The Grader is responsible for examining and grading donated goods to determine quality, which supports our sales and provides job training opportunities for individuals facing employment barriers. Your role involves thoroughly inspecting donated items, meeting daily production goals, and supporting various work areas as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Examine and grade donated goods thoroughly
• Process goods efficiently to meet daily targets
• Support multiple work areas as required
• Identify and resolve issues promptly
• Communicate effectively with team members and management
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Follow safety and security procedures
• Attend training sessions and meetings

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Good communication skills in English
• Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Strong organizational skills and sound judgment
• Must be 18 years or older to operate forklifts (individuals aged 16-17 are not permitted to operate forklifts, balers, or compactors)
