Job Overview

A Full Time Merchandiser at Bell Nursery represents our company to clients and customers. This role involves visual merchandising, unloading & stocking shipments of live goods, and customer relations at assigned locations (4162, 4127, 6956). The Merchandiser reports to local leadership including store, area, and district managers, working closely with retail and receiving partners. Many Bell Merchandisers return season after season, becoming part of our family.

Responsibilities

• Follow company policies and uphold the Bell Brand standards.
• Maintain excellent client relationships.
• Execute merchandising standards at the store.
• Communicate daily with leadership about operational issues.
• Ensure watering standards for live goods.
• Stock merchandise, maintain store order, and ensure planogram compliance.
• Ensure signage is correct and in place.
• Accurately check in and manage delivery orders.
• Keep carts and displays merchandised and signage up to date.
• Support inventory management.
• Assist team members as needed.

Qualifications

• Motivated and ready for a challenge.
• Interest or knowledge in plants and gardening is a plus.
• Professionalism and strong communication skills.
• Experience in merchandising is helpful but attitude is more important.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to complete tasks orderly and independently.
• Own a smartphone with Android 5.0+/iOS 7.0+ for communication.
