Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain rapport with all assigned accounts.
• Maintain adequate inventory levels in all assigned accounts.
• Pull up and restock assigned retail shelves with product from store’s inventory.
• Complete and submit a daily sales report.
• Maintains quality results by following and enforcing rotation standards.
• Maintains displays by replenishing inventory and removing damaged products.
• Conducts assigned routes in a consistent manner.
• Finish assigned tasks within the scheduled times at assigned accounts.
• Assist the Accounts Managers with cooler sets and resets as necessary.
• Understand and adhere to company Sales and Merchandising Standards.

Description

Bill’s Distributing, Ltd., an industry leader in beer, soda, wine & spirits distribution, is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Full Time Merchandiser within our Soda Sales Division. The Merchandiser will be responsible for ensuring product is rotated and shelves are stocked at assigned locations.

Essential Job Functions:

• Develop and maintain excellent rapport with all assigned accounts
• Maintain adequate inventory levels in all assigned accounts
• Pull up and restock assigned retail shelves with product from store’s inventory
• Complete and submit a daily sales report
• Maintains quality results by following and enforcing rotation standards
• Maintains displays by replenishing inventory and removing any damaged products
• Conducts assigned routes in a consistent manner
• Effectively finishes assigned tasks within the scheduled times at assigned accounts
• Assists the Accounts Managers with cooler sets and resets as necessary
• Understand and adhere to company Sales and Merchandising Standards
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED

Necessary Skills and Abilities

• Basic computer, math and reading skills
• Ability to work independently
• Valid driver’s license, safe driving record
• Willingness and ability to operate a forklift (Bill's will provide training)

Physical Requirements

• Ability to move or lift various case stock, up to 30 lbs continuously, up to 60 lbs rarely
• Ability to frequently walk, stand; use hands to lift, handle, or feel objects; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, or crouch; talk or hear; sit occasionally

Working Conditions/Environment

• Work is performed primarily at retailers in the market
• Frequently works in refrigerated coolers at retailers
