Job summary

Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated in Indianapolis is seeking a Merchandiser to present products at customer retail locations, service multiple accounts, and follow all planograms and quality guidelines.

The role requires moving products, organizing back rooms, and building strong relationships with store personnel. Flexible schedule up to ~32 hours weekly, starting after 10 am, with an emphasis on reliability and physical activity.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication including listening, speaking, and writing.
• Prior customer service experience preferred in retail.
• Strong interpersonal skills to satisfy diverse customer needs.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment (lifting up to 50 lbs).
• Able to work reliably with little supervision and demonstrate critical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Fills, merchandises and rotates products on display and shelves per procedures and programs.
• Moves products from backroom to display areas.
• Creates and distributes point of sale materials and rotates merchandisers and vendors; checks operation.
• Organizes back room and pallet areas, returns damaged or outdated product to the branch.
• Fosters relationships with store personnel through follow-up on requests and opportunities.
