Job summary

Scheels All Sports, Inc. in Johnstown, CO is seeking a part-time merchandiser to support store operations. You will unload freight, stock shelves, and assist customers while maintaining an organized sales floor.

Typical schedule includes 15-20 hours per week with 2-3 evening shifts and some weekend hours. Base pay is $16 per hour, with opportunities for additional benefits and team ownership support.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
• 1-3 months related experience or training.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Unload product from freight, tag, fold, hang, and price merchandise for display.
• Restock merchandise on the sales floor and bring products to the floor for display.
• Assist customers and sales associates with retrieving and loading purchased products.
• Follow the Line Leader checklist, walk-through notes, and merch guides to prioritize shop needs.
• Coordinate with Specialty Shop Managers and display teams on shop moves and mannequin placement.
• Maintain orderly appearance with cleaning and organization around store and back stock areas.
• Work independently and with the team; handle multiple tasks effectively.

Responsibilities:

Education & Experience:

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a high school diploma or general education degree (GED), 1-3 months of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Requirements/Lifting Requirements:

Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation.

Very heavy work - Exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for heavy work.

Schedule and Compensation:

• Hours: Average of 15-20 hours per week
• The Shift: 2-3 evening shifts from (5:00 PM - 9:00 PM).
• Weekends: Minimum of every other weekend (Saturdays between 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM; Sundays 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM).
• Pay: The posted compensation is a base hourly rate of $16.00/HR.
