Job summary

Coca-Cola Consolidated in Toledo is seeking a Merchandiser to present products and attract consumer attention at customer retail locations. You will service multiple bulk accounts, merchandise approved products, and follow planograms while communicating with store management and cross-functional teams.

This role requires effective communication, prior retail customer service, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have effective communication skills including listening, speaking, and writing.
• Prior customer service experience preferred in a retail setting.
• Merchandisers must have excellent interpersonal skills to satisfy varied customer needs.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment (lifting 50 lbs repeatedly).
• Able to work reliably and independently with little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Fills, merchandises and rotates products on display and the shelf according to procedures and programs.
• Physically moves the product from the backroom to the display.
• Creates and distributes POS materials and rotates products; checks vendor operation.
• Organizes back room by stacking and arranging product by package and flavor, handling damaged items.
• Fosters relationships with store personnel through follow-up on requests and promotional activities.
