Job summary

The Merchandiser - Large Store role at Coca-Cola Bottling Company UNITED, Inc. in Louisiana requires building displays, replenishing shelves, and maintaining product integrity across customer outlets.

You’ll work a 5-day schedule starting at 5am, with responsibilities including stock replenishment, displays, and partnership with Sales Supervisors to ensure optimal outlets. Excellent benefits are provided, including vacation, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and obligation to maintain UNITED fleet policy.
• Reliable vehicle.
• PPE as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policies.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to problem solve.
• Previous Merchandising experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build displays and replenish inventory on the customer’s shelves, racks, and cold equipment.
• Rotate and replenish products in customer outlets, including displays and equipment.
• Maintain product integrity, neatly stacked and rotated backstock, clean coolers and racks.
• Organize breakage and out-of-date products and collect empty shells and pallets.
• Provide feedback on competitive threats and business opportunities to leadership.
• Work with Sales Supervisor and Delivery Driver to execute the plan.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers and provide superior service.
• Collaborate with all functional team members.
• Perform duties as assigned by management.
