Job summary

Canada Dry, a member of the Honickman Companies, is seeking a self-motivated Merchandiser to join our Glen Burnie, MD facility. You will merchandise and service assigned accounts and contribute to sales goals by maintaining displays and visiting stores.

Responsibilities

• Maintain shelving, rotate products and verify shelf prices.
• Build and maintain secondary and promotional displays to company standards.
• Merchandise and fill coolers, vendors and racks to standard on every visit.
• Call on each account as scheduled and develop rapport.
• Manage back-stock and organize damaged products.
• Handle customer requests with supervisor guidance.
• Attend meetings and trainings as required.

Canada Dry, a member of the Honickman Companies, has an exciting opportunity for a Merchandiser to join our team at our Glen Burnie, MD facility. A leader in the beverage industry, we are seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented team player who is committed to the success of our customers. As an integral part of the team, you will contribute to sales goals by merchandising and servicing assigned accounts.

Other roles and responsibilities include:

• Maintain shelving, rotate products and verify correct shelf prices.
• Build, merchandise and maintain all secondary and promotional displays to conform to company standards.
• Merchandise and fill all coolers, vendors and rack to standard on every visit (if applicable).
• Call on each account as scheduled.
• Create, develop and maintain a strong rapport in every account.
• Manage, rotate and maintain back-stock where applicable.
• Collect and organize damaged product into designated area.
• Call in all customer requests to your immediate supervisor.
• Attend all scheduled meetings and be an active participant.
• Attend all training sessions.
• Follow all company and customer safety guidelines and policies.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION:

• Equivalent of a high school diploma or G.E.D.
• Must maintain a valid Driver's License.
• Two years merchandising/sales and/or customer contact experience.
• Office equipment including, but not limited to, computer, phone, fax machine, copier and calculator.
• MS Office including Word and Excel.

Merchandisers are required to use their own personal vehicles and maintain state minimum vehicle insurance.

*Canada Dry offers a competitive hourly rate of $19.80 with opportunity for overtime and holiday premium pay. Excellent benefits which include medical, dental and vision. Eligibility in benefit plans begin the first of the month after 30 days of employment. Five (5) days of sick leave; one (1) week of vacation accrued throughout the year; seven (7) Company Paid Holidays (pro-rated based on hire date) and a 401K Plan with employer match.
