Greet customers on the sales floor, direct them to products or to a parts specialist, check out customers, and deter shoplifters. Keep the front area stocked and organized, stock merchandise according to planograms or displays, and complete sales preparations.

Essential Job Functions:

1. Merchandiser:

• Greet customers, assist in locating merchandise or direct them to a parts specialist for hard parts.
• Check in, price, and stock merchandise.
• Maintain merchandise displays, make display changes per guidelines, and ensure all sale signage is accurate and in place.
• Assist with stock adjustments, cycle counts, and overstock returns.
• Collaborate with the manager on store tasks.
• Act as the main deterrent for shoplifting and provide security.
• Assist with O’Reilly Image Maker responsibilities.

Cashier:

• Check out customers efficiently and friendly.
• Handle merchandise returns professionally.
• Assist with checkout during busy times, including finishing tickets and processing payments.

Skills and Requirements:

• Good aptitude for number sequences, interpersonal communication, and organization.
• Preferred: previous cashier or stocking experience, ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle, bilingual skills (Spanish highly desired).
