Job description

The candidate will work directly with the Merchandising Teams to support the full development process, including communications with internal teams, overseas offices, mills, and factories to ensure the production of high-quality and timely Men's and Women's products, along with other brand extensions.

This is a unique opportunity to work with a high-profile brand in both Mens and Womens categories.

Major Responsibilities

1. Support the Mens & Womens Merchandising teams to develop, maintain, and execute all tasks on the merchandising calendar to meet key target market dates.
2. Assist with strategies for brand extensions and new product growth opportunities as they arise.
3. Communicate daily via email with overseas offices and suppliers.
4. Solicit fabrics and prices for seasonal developments as directed.
5. Set up and maintain seasonal Lab Dip / Strike off tracking charts.
6. Set up and maintain seasonal Proto sample tracking charts.
7. Set up and maintain seasonal Line Sheets.
8. Set up and maintain seasonal SMS Grid.
9. Set up seasonal Style Master and maintain all data in VSR.
10. Assist in setting up the initial seasonal Buy Plan.
11. Maintain records for fabric detail sheets (FDS) and other related development data.
12. Manage department packages (Fedex / UPS / DHL) for sending and receiving.
13. Assist with showroom setup and maintenance.
14. Maintain the sample closet.

Required Skills / Knowledge / Experience

• 1-2+ years of experience in merchandising and product development.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and PLM; Adobe Suite knowledge is a plus.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities with a sense of urgency.
• Knowledge of VSR or other data entry programs is a plus.
• Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.

Educational Background

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
