Saratoga Eagle Sales & Service Inc. is hiring a Beverage Merchandiser in the Oneonta area. The role focuses on greeting store staff, presenting products to meet customer needs, and maintaining attractive displays across assigned accounts.

The position requires excellent communication, physical ability to handle up to 50 lbs, a valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation. Forty-hour week with four 10-hour shifts and weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Greet store owner or manager to review instructions and display merchandise.
• Place new merchandise on display as instructed by the salesman.
• Organize the customer’s back room and maintain shelves.
• Repack damaged packages and replace on shelf or cooler.
• Monitor and update shelf tags; take inventory and report low/out-of-stock situations.
• Assist with resets and maintain current/POS materials for optimal account coverage.

Job Location: SESS Oneonta - Oneonta, NY 13820, Salary Range: $19.75 - $19.75 Hourly, Saratoga Eagle Sales & Service, Inc. located in Saratoga Springs, NY is a family owned, full-service beverage distributor servicing 21 counties in New York State. Do you want to join one of the top beverage distributors in the state with opportunities for growth? We are currently hiring for a Beverage Merchandiser in the Oneonta area. Many of our merchandisers move on to Sales Relief and then Sales Consultant positions.

The schedule for this position is four 10-hour shifts. Weekend work is required.

Saratoga Eagle will provide a cell phone allowance, uniforms, and mileage reimbursement.

Requirements:

• Excellent Customer Service Skills.
• Greets store owner or manager to review specific instructions.
• Display merchandise that meet customer’s needs, and emphasizes selling points of article such as quality.
• Based on instruction from the salesman, places new merchandise on display.
• Organizes customer’s back room.
• Repackages any damaged packages and replace on shelf or cooler for customer.
• Monitors and updates shelf tags.
• Takes inventory of stock and reports low volumes and out of stock situations.
• Assists with resets as needed.
• Maintain current and themed P.O.S. to ensure maximum account coverage.
• Adheres to all standards in sales manual (rotation etc).
• Checks voicemail 3 to 4 times daily/communicates with drivers and salesmen on a regular basis.
