Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Merchandiser to build and maintain off-premise product displays, ensuring accurate shelf pricing and timely rotation. You will work with Delivery Drivers and Sales Representatives to maximize visibility and sales while maintaining professional store appearances.

The role requires lifting up to 70 pounds, driving to multiple locations, and using POS materials. A valid driver's license and reliable transport are essential for daily route execution.

Summary:Schedule: T-F (3 Days) and 1 Weekend Day (Four 10 Hour Shifts)Responsible for building and maintaining off-premise product displays including appearance and rotation. Works under the supervision of the department managers and/or team leaders. Works as a team with Delivery Drivers and Sales Representatives to provide the best possible customer service to all clients.Essential Functions (must be able to be performed with or without reasonable accommodation):Execute company merchandising standards in all assigned accounts while maintaining a sense of urgency, professionalism, and attention to detail.Ensure all authorized items are properly distributed, merchandised, and displayed in assigned accounts.Build, maintain, and enhance displays to maximize product visibility, availability, and sales opportunities.Monitor inventory levels, identify out-of-stock and low inventory situations, and communicate opportunities and concerns to Sales Representatives in a timely manner.Verify shelf pricing, tags, and point-of-sale materials are accurate and properly displayed.Install, maintain, and remove permanent and temporary point-of-sale materials in support of company and supplier promotional initiatives.Utilize company technology and reporting tools to accurately document daily activities, account conditions, execution results, photos, and surveys.Identify and communicate competitive activity, display opportunities, pricing concerns, and space changes within assigned accounts.Maintain product freshness through proper product rotation, code date management, and first-in/first-out inventory practices.Maintain a clean, organized, and professional appearance in customer accounts, stockrooms, coolers, and display areas.Operate safely at all times and comply with all company safety policies, procedures, and customer requirements.Develop and maintain positive working relationships with store personnel while representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.Effectively manage daily route assignments to ensure all scheduled accounts are serviced on time and according to company standards.Performance Expectations:· Take ownership of assigned accounts and execute daily priorities with minimal supervision.· Consistently achieve company standards for merchandising execution, display compliance,product rotation, and in-stock conditions.· Communicate effectively and professionally with Sales Representatives, Team Leaders,Supervisors, and customers.· Demonstrate reliability through consistent attendance, punctuality, and completion of assignedwork.· Maintain high standards of customer service and professionalism at all times.· Support company initiatives and contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment.· Continuously seek opportunities to improve account conditions, increase product visibility, andenhance customer satisfaction.Qualifications:· Education and/or Experience: Must be at least 18 years of age. High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.· Language Skills: Ability to read labels and comprehend various coding systems.· Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of database software; Internet software; order processing systems.- Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Must have reliable transportation to use to get to multiple work locations as directed throughout the workday; and the vehicle must have the capacity to transport POS as needed.- Other Skills and Abilities: Excellent communication skills and people skills in order to be able to respond to any situation.Physical Requirements:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required tostand; walk; sit; use hands, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk orhear.
