Description and Requirements

Acosta is seeking motivated candidates to join its retail merchandiser network. The Retail Service Merchandiser is responsible for executing reset and remodel tasks, including reading plan-o-grams, new item placement, void corrections, and other merchandising activities.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter, quick learner, detail-oriented, and team-oriented. They should have excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to build relationships with store partners.

Responsibilities include:

• Following plan-o-grams for resets and remodels, understanding merchandising terminology.
• Performing shelf cleaning, installing racks, displaying merchandise, attaching tags, checking date codes, and managing stock and reorders.
• Collaborating with store staff and team members to ensure merchandising excellence.
• Reporting observations and issues to management.
• Using web-based applications for work scheduling, documentation, and training.
• Preparing and submitting work documentation accurately.
• Practicing safety and alerting management of unsafe conditions.
• Performing additional duties as assigned.
• Adhering to company policies and procedures.

Requirements include reliable transportation, professional appearance, computer and internet access, comfort with technology, ability to lift up to 60 lbs., and strong interpersonal skills. Candidates should be able to operate or learn to operate various tools and equipment, and be comfortable climbing ladders or step stools.
