Job summary

Johnson Brothers, a leading family-owned distributor of wine, spirits, and beer, seeks a Merchandiser to stock shelves, build displays, and follow up after deliveries in our Arizona market.

You will manage in-store promotions, shelf placement, and inventory, while servicing accounts and supporting sales objectives across the territory. Local candidates preferred; weekend availability and a valid driver's license required.

Qualifications

• Prior sales experience is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Local candidates preferred; must be able to work Saturdays.
• Candidate must pass criminal background and MVR.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales objectives and territory management.
• Merchandise shelves, maintain cold boxes, build displays and stock inventories.
• Sell current and new products, manage promotions and in‑store tastings.
• Service accounts and support sales initiatives across the territory.
• Follow up after deliveries and service shelves from department storage areas.

This position is responsible for stocking shelves, coolers and building displays. In addition, this position will follow up after the deliveries are made by our drivers and service shelves from the department storage areas.

Other general responsibilities may include the proper management of an established sales territory including selling, servicing, merchandising, administration and accounts receivable.

Job Description:

Merchandisers are responsible for achieving sales objectives, territory management, selling current and new products, promotions, in-store tastings, and servicing accounts. This also includes merchandising activities such as: shelf placement, maintaining cold boxes, building displays and stocking inventories. Flexibility is the key to being a successful Merchandiser.

Job Requirements:

• Prior sales experience (preferred)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Goals and results driven
• Must have reliable transportation and proof of insurance
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Local candidates preferred (no relocation package)
• Must be able to work possible Saturdays
