Job summary

Goodwill Central East Texas is hiring a part-time Retail Associate in Lufkin, TX. You’ll stock, stage, and display merchandise, keep areas clean, and assist customers in a fast-paced store environment. This role offers 20-25 hours per week with some evening and weekend shifts.

No prior experience required, but merchandising or decorating experience is a plus; training and supportive team are provided. Goodwill emphasizes dignity, respect, and inclusion, with opportunities for growth and service

Responsibilities

• Stock and stage “fresh” merchandise onto the sales floor.
• Use racks and carts to organize clothing, hardlines, and décor.
• Create visually appealing displays and maintain store sections.
• Size, sort, and straighten items on the sales floor.
• Remove outdated or damaged items as directed by management.
• Keep fitting rooms and checkout areas clean and tidy.
• Dust, sanitize, sweep, mop, and make the store sparkle.
• Re-merchandise misplaced items (soft/hard lines).
• Support team members and contribute to a positive store vibe.
• Represent Goodwill with professionalism, dignity, and respect.

What We’re Looking For:

Experience in merchandising or decorating is a plus-but not required!

• This is a non-exempt (hourly) position
