Job summary

Breakthru Beverage is hiring a full-time Sales Merchandiser in Chesapeake, VA. You’ll merchandise daily in accounts, stock shelves, build displays, and manage POS materials while coordinating resets.

Develop strong account relationships, share feedback with the sales team, and identify opportunities to grow shelf presence. Must be 21+, have a valid driver's license, and be able to lift 45–65 pounds, with occasional weekend work.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Excellent customer service, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Professional demeanor and good judgment.
• Able to work weekends occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise daily in new and existing accounts: stock shelves, build displays, manage POS materials, and perform store resets.
• Develop rapport with key accounts and relay feedback to the sales team; identify brand opportunities and shelf enhancements.
• Build beer, wine, and/or spirit knowledge to support customers.
• Handle beverage alcohol products safely and conduct responsible interactions with the public.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job Responsibilities

Here’s what you’ll do:

• Daily merchandising in new and existing accounts:
  • Stocking and rotating shelves
  • Building displays
  • POS material management
  • Store resets for remodels, grand openings or seasonal changes
• Build strong rapport with key account relationships and obtain feedback on merchandising activities. Share feedback with appropriate sales team members to
  • Identify brand/category opportunities
  • Identify opportunities to expand shelf and cold box facings
  • Communicate out of stock or new item opportunities
• Learn and grow beer, wine, and/or spirit knowledge for brands and our customers.
• Responsibly handle beverage alcohol product & conduct safe and responsible interactions with the public.
• Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder’s supervisor, may also be required.

Minimum Qualifications

• 21 years or older to apply, prefer HS Diploma or equivalent
• Possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
• Top-shelf customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrate high levels of professionalism and sound judgment
• Able to work occasional weekends
• Able to lift and carry 45-65 pounds
