Job summary

Reyes Coca-Cola Bottling is seeking a route merchandising associate in California. You will travel to grocery stores to stock, display and rotate products, and move goods between backrooms and shelves using a pallet jack or hand truck.

The role requires 18+ years, a valid driver's license and reliable car, plus the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Union, medical, dental, vision, retirement and vacation benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift, push and pull 25–50 pounds regularly.

Responsibilities

• Travel to grocery stores and other beverage outlets to stock, maintain, display and rotate products on assigned routes.
• Transport product between backroom and display floor using pallet jack or hand truck.
• Use company systems for routing, compliance and account monitoring.
• Complete merchandising checkouts and upload photos documenting execution.
• Maintain and organize backstock areas to support inventory levels and freshness.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Local Route Available: Elk Grove, Citrus Heights, Folsom, Rancho Cordova and surrounding communities


• Hourly Pay Rate: $23.00 plus mileage reimbursement

Position Responsibilities

• Travel to grocery stores and other beverage outlets to ensure proper levels of our product is stocked, maintained, displayed, and rotated correctly in accounts along assigned routes


• Transport product between backroom and display floor with manual equipment, such as pallet jack or hand truck


• Use company-issued technology and systems for routing compliance, efficiency and account monitoring


• Accurately utilize company systems to complete merchandising checkouts, upload display and backstock photos to document execution in accounts


• Maintain and organize backstock areas by consolidating products to support proper inventory levels and product freshness


• Other projects or duties as assigned

Required Education And Experience

• A candidate must be 18 years of age or meet the minimum state legal age requirements.


• Requires reliable, personal automobile transportation. Employees must maintain an acceptable driving record and valid driver's license. Auto insurance coverage must meet minimum amounts specified by the company and state law.


• Must be able to lift, push & pull products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds on a regular basis


• 0 to 6 months plus of general work experience
