Job summary

Grant’s Farm is seeking a Merchandise Associate to join our team in a fun, animal-filled setting. This part-time, hourly role focuses on guest service, helping guests shop our souvenirs, and maintaining an organized store environment.

You’ll handle POS transactions, stock displays, and collaborate with team members to deliver a seamless guest experience, with perks like employee parking passes, food & merchandise discounts, and behind-the-scenes views of our historic grounds and animals.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent guest service at all times.
• Greet and ask guests about their favorite animal/activity as they enter your area.
• Adheres to all company policies concerning Health and Safety (includes refilling essential items in Lounge, Restrooms and Front End).
• Offer suggestions to help souvenir-seeking guests find their perfect keepsake.
• Tell shoppers about add-on accessories and popular items to impact sales.
• Restock bins, shelves, fixtures, and displays with the newest merchandise.
• Handle all Point-of-Sale transactions at the cash register and support Front-End coverage.
• Maximize customer interest and sales levels by displaying and stocking products appropriately.
• Comply with loss prevention controls and shrink reduction policies.
• Communicate accurately with management, leads and teammates.
• Work closely with all departments to ensure an outstanding guest experience.
• Participate in safety awareness and maintenance of a risk-free environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Our Merchandise Associate at Grant’s Farm will be responsible for interacting with guests daily by (inviting them in to shop our unique souvenirs and apparel) (suggest items that are popular or may help solve a problem they are having (rain jacket/backpack to hold their items etc). as well as maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Essential Job Duties
