Job summary

Grant’s Farm is seeking a Guest Experiences Associate for part-time, hourly work in a fun, animal-adjacent environment. You will support guest check-ins, tours, and events, while ensuring safety and high-quality service across the farm.

Team collaboration and proactive problem-solving are encouraged. Responsibilities include ticketing, guest assistance, maintaining courtyards, and supporting other departments on projects and events.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist guests, volunteers and visitors promptly and with care.
  • Serve as first point of contact and resolve issues during shifts.
  • Assist in ticketing and admissions and provide information as needed.
  • Deliver concierge-level service for check-ins, check-outs, orientations and tours.
  • Communicate policies to guests and coordinate with staff for smooth operations.
  • Document maintenance needs and assist with simple facility requests.
  • Ensure cleanliness of common areas and uphold safety standards.
  • Attend training and follow emergency procedures.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Our Guest Experiences Associate at Grant’s Farm will be responsible for ensuring excellent customer service, the safety and operation of the farm, and maintaining a caring environment with guests, volunteers and other staff members. This position is part of a team that works throughout the entire farm and provide high-quality customer service and care to all internal and external guests. Our Guest Experiences Associates assist in ticketing and admissions, they are tram announcers; they assist elderly visitors and families with children; they maintain the cleanliness of our courtyard; and they work closely with other departments on various projects and events.

  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests, volunteers, and visitors in a compassionate, supportive and timely manner; anticipate and address guests’ needs.
  • Act as the first point of contact and effectively problem solve any issues that may arise during scheduled shift.
  • Partner with Guest Experiences Lead as needed.
  • Provide concierge-level service for guest check-ins, check-outs, orientations, tours, and other guest needs that may arise, following procedures and policies set forth by Grant’s Farm.
  • Communicate policies and procedures gracefully. Report any concerns or issues to Guest Experience Lead.
  • Communicate with appropriate Farm staff as needed in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Document maintenance needs for the Maintenance team. Attend to simple guest facility needs if possible (i.e. replacing light bulbs, locating supplies, etc.).
  • Document and communicate any significant happenings and ensure subsequent shifts are well-informed.
  • Inspect, clean, and organize common areas throughout the farm, such as the courtyard.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emergency procedures and security protocols. Uphold Grant’s Farm standards of safe guest accommodations and working conditions.
  • Operate as Grant’s Farm representatives with all volunteers and visitors and provide warm customer service.
  • Attend all applicable training.
  • Ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations and respond in a calm manner.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as requested.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be organized, focused, and have a track record of excellent judgment.
  • Good oral communication skills.
  • Must be self‑motivated and able to multitask.
  • Positive attitude, pleasant demeanor, and appropriate dress required.
  • Team spirit and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Flexibility and adaptability
Physical Demands & Work Environment
  • Must be able to lift or carry 25 pounds.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to walk distances over uneven terrain.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, weekends, evenings and holidays.
  • Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions including heat, inclement weather, cold, etc
