Job summary

MSG Entertainment is hiring a Food & Merchandise Team Lead for an event-driven, part-time role at our New York venues. You will manage location staff, maintain displays, and ensure guest satisfaction during events.

You will lead merchandising operations, coordinate with teams, and uphold cleanliness and presentation standards across selling floors. Physical tasks and flexible hours are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in retail or sports merchandising.
• Experience in training, cash handling, equipment operation and management.
• Ability to operate and use POS register system.
• Strong communication with staff and guests.
• Ability to move or handle merchandise throughout the store.

Responsibilities

• Conducting daily audits and monthly location inventory.
• Process employee time sheets and ensure guest service standards.
• Maintain product knowledge and store systems.
• Assist with on-floor merchandising, moves, display maintenance.
• Report issues to management from personnel, maintenance or merchandise.
• Ensure merchandise replenishment and flow on the selling floor.

Who are we hiring?

The Food & Merchandise Team Lead is responsible fora location or collection of locations and their respective staff compliments.The Food &Merchandise Team Lead hasa focus on merchandise display and sales, proper guest relations,andappropriate useand maintenance of facility equipment. This employee willbe responsible foroverall management of their location on event nights.

What will you do?

• Conducting daily audits, monthly location inventory, processingof employee time sheets.
• Ensuring that guests receive outstanding guest service in our locations, and staff at locations adhere tohigh standardsthat have been set out by Madison Square Garden.
• Maintains a good understanding of our products and services as well as our systems and practices.
• Assistsimplementing offloor moves, merchandising and display maintenance along with ensuring that the cleanliness and upkeep of our locations ismaintainedata high level.
• Reporting to management any issue from a Personnel, Maintenance, or Merchandise standpoint.
• Ensures the processing and replenishing of merchandise on the selling floor byparticipatingin receiving and monitoring merchandise flow.
• Provide exceptional experiences for our guests, partners, and team members, including by adhering to our appearance and presentation guidelines while on-site.

What do you need to succeed?

• The ideal candidate will have a minimum of2yearssupervisory experience in retail or sports merchandising.
• Must havepreviousexperience in training, cash handling, equipmentoperationand management.
• Ability to process information/merchandise through the current computer register system (POS).
• Ability to communicate with all employees as well as guests.
• Must be able tooperateand use all equipment necessary to run the respective merchandise store/stand.
• Ability to move or handle merchandise throughout the store.

Special Requirements

• This position is part-time and scheduled on anevent drivenbasis.
• Able to walk and stand during the entire shift.
• Lifting, pushing, pulling up to 25 lbs.
• Ability toworka flexible schedule including nights,have splitdays off, work weekends and holidays in a 24 X 7 environment.

Hourly Pay Range

$27—$27 USD
