Job summary

The Michaels Companies is seeking a Merchandise Manager at the S.JOS Blossom Hill store in San Jose, CA. The role drives merchandising and operational execution, including truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards to ensure accurate pricing and timely promotional execution.

Responsibilities include leading adherence to SOPs, ensuring policy execution, and providing Manager-on-Duty coverage.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of SOPs and store policies.
• Experience with merchandising, pricing, and inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading adherence to SOPs and company programs.
• Ensure compliance with laws and requirements; maintain store conditions and results.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain floor leadership and service standards.
• Lead truck execution, unloads, sorting, and flow of merchandise to the floor.
• Oversee Ship-from-Store, RTVs, ASN receiving, and inventory adjustments.
• Train and develop team members through onboarding and ongoing skill-building.
