Job summary

Sam's Club in Rochester, MN is seeking a merchandising & stocking associate to ensure members can find products and have a positive shopping experience. The role includes unloading, stocking shelves, assisting members, and supporting backroom operations in a fast-paced environment.

You will help maintain store presentation, handle operations, and promote products while complying with safety and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Provides member service by acknowledging the member and identifying member needs; guiding and supporting members regarding self-service technology; assisting with purchasing decisions; locating merchandise; resolving member issues and concerns; promoting the company's products and services.
• Maintains safety of facility according to company policies and procedures by conducting safety sweeps; following forklift spotting procedures; handling and disposing of hazardous materials; following standard guidelines; reporting unsafe situations to management.
• Maintains the sales floor and merchandise presentation by zoning the area; stocking, arranging and organizing merchandise; setting up displays; pricing merchandise; identifying shrink and damages; securing fragile and high-shrink items.
• Monitors food and merchandise quality by rotation, date codes, recalls, and sanitation; ensuring prominent display of promotional and seasonal merchandise.
• Complies with policies and standards of ethics and integrity; uses Open Door Policy; applies these in executing business processes.
• Completes work assignments by coordinating with managers, co-workers, customers, and partners; prioritizing deadlines; communicating progress; adapting to change and feedback.
• Ensures club pick up orders are filled and staged according to policy.
• The hourly wage range for this position is $18.00 to $26.00; additional premiums may apply.
