Job Summary:

Merchandise Stockers perform in store services inside a high-volume nation account store. As a merchandise stocker, you are responsible for managing inventory (ordering and stocking), generating weekly credits and providing exceptional customer service within a defined territory. Covering service calls when regular merchandise stockers are away on vacation and providing full service to multiple stores, usually focusing on one store per day.

Full service includes:

CLEANING:Recovering the condition of the aisle since last service including straightening up messy bins or displays and resolving bin contamination.
STOCKING:Packing out all freight in overhead and incoming freight from the previous weeks order.
CULLING:Removing damaged/unsellable material and issuing credit back to partner store electronically.
MERCHANDISING:Maintain signage and pricing to best practice standards. Move backers to affect perception.
ORDERING:Submitting weekly electronic requests to replenish inventory in stores according to published guidelines.
CUSTOMER/STORE PARTNER INTERACTION:Build strong, professional and dependable relationships with store management, associates, and customers.
PROJECTS AND TASKS:Merchandising projects and tasks will be assigned by area manager. Complete tasks, projects and resets of Woodgrain products in stores.

Requirements:

• Must have a valid driver’s license, proof of current auto insurance and your own vehicle to travel to/between stores in your assigned route. You will not be transporting any of our products in you personal vehicle.
• This position is very labor intensive, so you will need to be able to lift between 50-80 lbs. and push/pull a cart with wheels and wood products up to 175 lbs., and handle 14-16 ft. long pieces of wood.
• This role requires you to be able to pass a background check, motor vehicle report, drug screen, and a physical fitness test to ensure you are able to perform the tasks mentioned above.
