Job summary

Woodgrain is seeking a Merchandise Stocker for the Dallas, TX area to support in-store service, manage inventory replenishment, and provide exceptional customer service in high-volume national accounts. This labor-intensive role involves stocking, merchandising, ordering, and coordinating with store management.

The position requires lifting and moving up to 50 lbs and a valid driver’s license with own vehicle.

Qualifications

• Must have strong customer service skills and able to manage store inventory replenishment.
• Experience with stocking and merchandising in high-volume retail environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform in-store service, manage inventory replenishment, generate weekly credits, and provide exceptional customer service within a defined territory inside high-volume national account stores.
• This is a labor-intensive position requiring physical effort.
• Stock, organize, and maintain moulding inventory to ensure materials are readily available.
• Cleaning: recover aisle condition since last service.
• Straightening stock: restock messy bins or displays and resolve bin contamination.
• Stocking: pack out freight from previous weeks orders and overhead.
• Culling: remove damaged/unsellable material and issue credits electronically.
• Merchandising: maintain signage and pricing to best practice; move backers for perception.
• Ordering: replenish inventory according to guidelines.
• Customer interaction: build strong relationships with store management and associates.
• Projects and tasks: merchandising projects and tasks assigned by area manager.
• Complete tasks, projects and resets of Woodgrain products in stores.

What our Merchandise Stocker does:

• THIS IS A LABOR INTESIVE POSITION
• Stock, organize, and maintain moulding inventory to ensure materials are readily available.
  
  • CLEANING:Recovering the condition of the aisle since last service.
  • STRAIGHTENING STOCK:Restocking messy bins or displays and resolving bin contamination.
  • STOCKING:Packing out any freight in overhead and incoming freight from the previous weeks order.
  • CULLING:Removing damaged/unsellable material and issuing credit electronically.
  • MERCHANDISING:Maintain signage and pricing to best practice. Move backers to affect perception.
  • ORDERING:Replenish inventory according to published guidelines.
  • CUSTOMER INTERACTION:Build strong dependable relationships with store management and associates.

What you need to have:

• Must have a valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance and your own vehicle.
• This position is very labor intensive and requires the ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs.
