Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend basic instructions.
• Ability to effectively communicate verbally with associates and customers.
• Ability to perform continuous walking, standing, bending, lifting up to 25 lbs for prolonged periods.
• Preferred: six months of previous work experience in warehouse/retail.

Responsibilities

• Transfer merchandise from containers to determine appropriateness for the sales floor.
• Sort apparel into boutique, salable, and salvage categories.
• Prepare items for the sales floor and evaluate quality, pricing, salability.
• Count items processed and record on the official log.
• Maintain daily hanger reports and logs.
• Assist in collection and stocking of donated merchandise.
• Provide excellent service to donors and retail customers.
• Maintain a neat uniform and appearance.
• Meet required productivity quotas for pieces processed.
