Job summary

The Vapor Thrift Store is seeking a part-time Processing team member to turn donated goods into priced, sellable merchandise. This role reports to the Assistant Manager and/or Store Manager and requires 16-30 hours weekly.

You will sort donations, price items using the pricing guide, maintain a clean workspace, and ensure an excellent customer and donor experience while sharing Vapor’s mission with customers.

• Must love the Lord and commit to Vapor Ministry's mission

• Must be able to make quick decisions
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs unassisted
• Must have a pleasant demeanor with all customers
• Time commitment of 16–30 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Process donated goods into priced, sellable merchandise
• Provide excellent customer service and donor experience
• Ensure proper donation sorting and setup
• Accurate pricing using the pricing guide and product knowledge
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Assist with opening/closing checklists and daily routines
• Participate in Vapor Ministries’ culture and development activities
• Other duties as needed on a temporary basis
