Job summary

Thrift Unlimited LLC is seeking a Production Associate to support the processing team by sorting, evaluating, and preparing items for the sales floor. You will stock merchandise, assist donors and customers, and help maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment.

The role requires strong customer service skills, reliability, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting. Flexibility for shift hours, including some evenings and weekends, is expected.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience.
• Friendly personality, trustworthy, dependable, responsible.
• Strong work ethic and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills; Spanish is a plus.
• Physical stamina with standing, bending, walking; lift 35-50 lbs.
• Flexibility to work weekdays/nights, weekends and holidays; overtime may be required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent certificate.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, sort, hang, and tag clothing, household items, shoes, linens, accessories, etc.
• Perform final sort of donations and determine value of items (QC Specialists ONLY).
• Handle merchandise ensuring accuracy, efficiency and care.
• Prepare and place merchandise for display in proper areas of the sale floor.
• Remove merchandise for the sales floor when appropriate.
• Assist in maintaining inventory levels and identify items in high demand.
• Cross train in all areas.
• Housekeeping and cleaning duties; report hazards.
• Collaborate with production team to meet sales targets; quotas.
• Meet daily, weekly and monthly production quotas.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Work independently and pay attention to detail.
• Follow policies and procedures.
• Assist in training and guiding new team members.
