Job summary

Coyuchi is seeking a Merchandise Planner to own demand forecasting and inventory management across multiple sales channels and product categories. You will build SKU-level forecasts, analyze performance, and translate data-driven insights into recommendations for assortment planning and markdown strategies.

The role requires strong analytical skills, experience with multi-channel retail planning, and proficiency in Excel and BI tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or supply chain management.
• Minimum 4 years of planning experience in multi-channel retail.
• Strong retail math and analytics
• Experience owning open-to-buy and SKU-level forecasting models
• Proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas)
• Experience with BI tools Looker, Tableau, Domo, Aleph or similar
• Experience with ERP or planning systems NetSuite

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain demand and inventory forecasts across channels; own the open-to-buy (OTB) process.
• Develop SKU-level forecasts to support replenishment and seasonal buys.
• Analyze product performance to inform weekly/monthly reviews and markdowns.
• Analyze demand patterns by channel and margin scenarios for forecasting and buys.
• Partner with Sales and Finance to align inventory plans and goals.
• Collaborate with Sourcing and Logistics to ensure timely PO deliveries.
• Maintain product hierarchy and data for forecasting and reporting integrity.
• Leverage BI tools to surface insights and streamline reporting workflows.
• Translate data into clear insights for cross-functional teams; present to leadership.
• Continuously improve forecasting models and planning processes; adopt AI tools when beneficial.
