Job summary

The United States Golf Association (USGA) is seeking a Short-Term Merchandise internship in Pebble Beach, CA. You will support merchandise operations for major championships, including logistics, inventory, and customer service for fans and volunteers.

The role ramps up through May–June 2027 with increasing hours and responsibilities. You will work with numerous vendors and USGA staff to prepare fixtures, manage displays, and assist with the grand opening of the Merchandise Pavilion.

Responsibilities

• Assist with office setup and organizational projects.
• Help receive and organize merchandise at the U.S. Open merchandise operations.
• Support on-site office operations, volunteer packets, and visitor greetings.
• Assist with Merchandise Fixture setup, loading and signage tasks.
• Help run the Merchandise Pavilion and Satellite Tent(s) during the U.S. Open.
• Assist with checkout, stocking, replenishment, and back-stock organization.
